Data We Collect
PLOT collects information you provide directly: name, email, brokerage affiliation, and phone number. For buyer verification, we temporarily process proof-of-funds documentation or Plaid bank data to compute a purchasing power ceiling. Underlying financial data is discarded within 24 hours.
How We Use Your Data
Your data is used to operate the Platform, verify participants, match buyers with listings, and communicate service updates. We do not sell user data, run ads, or resell leads. Revenue comes exclusively from subscriptions and transaction fees.
Data Sharing
We share data only with your consent, to comply with legal obligations, or with service providers who assist in operating the Platform (e.g., payment processors, identity verification services). We do not share or sell your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
CCPA Rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected, request deletion of personal data, and opt out of the sale of personal information. PLOT does not sell personal information. To exercise your CCPA rights, contact us at privacy@plotrealestate.com.
Data Retention
Account data is retained as long as your account is active. Upon account deletion, all personal data, listings, messages, and match history are permanently removed within 30 days.
Security
We use industry-standard encryption (TLS 1.3) for all data in transit and AES-256 for data at rest. Access to user data is restricted to authorized personnel on a need-to-know basis.
